Perfect LSUS baseball team inducted into        Northwest Louisiana Walk of Stars
The LSUS baseball team was inducted into the Northwest Louisiana Walk of Stars during a ceremony presented by Walk-On's Shreveport on the LSUS campus on August 28, 2025.  The Pilots became the first team in college baseball history to complete a perfect season as LSUS went 59-0 en route to the university’s first NAIA national championship in any sport. Instead of the traditional handprints in concrete, a concrete mold of home plate with 59-0 was presented.  This marker will be added to the Walk of Stars under the Texas Street Bridge in the Red River Entertainment District downtown. The Northwest Louisiana Walk of Stars is funded by charitable contributions and corporate sponsorships. The concrete blocks are provided by longtime inkind sponsor of the Walk, Builders Supply Company, Inc.
