The Northwest Louisiana Walk of Stars is pleased to announce that Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott will be inducted around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, during a public induction ceremony held in the Buccaneer Den on the campus of Haughton High School. Prescott will be the 31st Northwest Louisiana Walk of Stars inductee. Haughton High School is located at 210 E. McKinley Ave. in Haughton. The induction will follow the conclusion of his annual Dak Prescott Football ProCamp, which will be held at HHS that morning. Parking will be on the west side of the campus, off N. Hazel St. While the induction ceremony is public, space is limited.
Dak led the Buccaneers to the District-1 4-A high school championship in his senior year there. He then set 38 school records at Mississippi State University. He was drafted by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL draft as a backup quarterback, but was thrust into the starting quarterback role when Tony Romo was injured during the pre-season.
